Pandanus Palms Resort from the air: a row of villas above the beach and the ocean, with the tennis and pickle ball court in the foreground

About

Every villa. Every view. Every stay.

Pandanus Palms sits high above the coastline at Point Lookout, on North Stradbroke Island. 27 villas, individually owned, and not one of them without an ocean outlook.

01 / The difference

The difference is between a spectacular view and an extraordinary one.

Unlike many coastal resorts where only a select few rooms enjoy water views, every villa at Pandanus Palms is positioned to embrace the breathtaking beauty of the Coral Sea.

Whether you choose a villa in the front, middle or rear section of the resort, you'll enjoy the natural beauty of the Pacific Ocean stretching before you. Front-row villas offer uninterrupted panoramic vistas, while middle and rear villas continue to enjoy expansive ocean outlooks that many resorts simply cannot match.

Each villa is individually owned, which is why no two are alike. Some read contemporary after recent renovation, others keep a classic beachside character. What does not change is the setting, and a full kitchen and laundry in every one.

02 / Whale season

Whale season, from your balcony

Every year visitors travel from around Australia to watch the humpback migration off North Stradbroke Island, and spend their days moving between lookouts and headlands looking for the right spot.

Through the season, guests here regularly watch humpbacks breaching, tail slapping and travelling along the coastline from the villa itself. Best months are June to October.

Whales are wild animals and sightings are never guaranteed, but the coastline in front of the resort is on the migration route.

03 / Where you are

Minjerribah

North Stradbroke Island is Minjerribah, and this is Quandamooka country. The headland reserve beside the resort is open to our guests because the Quandamooka People made it available for that purpose.

We acknowledge the Quandamooka People as the Traditional Owners of this island, and pay our respects to Elders past and present.
